In order for a mentor to properly mentor his/her mentee, their skill sets and the quality of mentoring has to be improved consistently. For this, KRCT conducts various training programs using internal and external experts. Also, the Institute informs the faculty members about the contests organized by various top corporate parties and encourages the team to effectively utilize these opportunities. These opportunities further help the faculty team to establish and maintain cordial relationships with Industries. This thereby facilitates in knowledge transformation between corporate and faculty, which then filters down to the students, thus enabling students to have a taste of what the corporate world expects from them.
KRCT enables knowledge sharing among the students and faculties through recent technologies like E-Curricula in teaching learning process in the campus. The entire campus is equipped with a high speed Wi-Fi facility of 500Mbps and is enabled with Amphisoft and E-Learning Software. This makes the class room environment more interesting and interactive. Besides, all the departments are well equipped with Research labs like E-Yentra Lab, National Instruments Lab, IOT Lab, PTC Lab, Automobile Lab, 3D Printing Lab, NDT Lab, and Tig and Mig welding Lab. These labs help the students to gain expertise in software and other skills so as to compete in the job market. Furthermore, by effectively engaging with the corporate world and signing various MoUs, KRCT enables students to take part in integrated product development courses, hone their soft skills along with academics, and hands-on training. In this regard, the institute organizes special academic lectures from international universities, arranges regular visit to other institutes for further upgradation process, and efficaciously utilizes the research facilities from both International and National Universities.

|Meet the Principal
Dr. S. Muruganandam a Postgraduate in Engineering Design from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, started his profession in teaching in 1990. In his 28 years of academic profession, he has established laboratories like Dynamics Lab, Metrology Lab etc. He has organized many National and International Seminars, Conferences and Workshops. He was instrumental in establishing and framing the curriculum for the PG course in Logistics Management. He was the Principal Investigator for the DST funded project on “Design of energy efficient tolls for Power Tillers”. He has published many research papers in International Journals &has presented many technical papers in National and International Conferences. At present, he is the Principal of K.Ramakrishnan College of Technology, Trichy.
