The National Testing Agency (NTA) published the definitive answer keys and declared the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2024 session 1 on Monday. Those who participated in the session 1 exam can access their results through the official JEE Mains website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Paper 1 exams took place on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, while the Paper 2 exam was conducted on January 24. According to reports, a total of 12 lakh students registered for both JEE Mains papers, with 11.70 lakh actually taking the test. Passing the JEE Main exams enables students to apply for the JEE Advanced exams, with registration likely to commence in April 2024.
Among the 23 highest scorers who achieved a perfect NTA score in the JEE Mains Examination, no female candidate obtained a 100 NTA score. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from Gujarat emerged as the top-ranking female candidate with an NTA score of 99.99.
Updates on the JEE Mains Result 2024 reveal that a total of 23 students attained 100 marks in the examination. Bhavya is the sole student from UP to secure a 99.9966033 percentile, as per the results announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday.
In an interview with HT, Bhavya Aggarwal expressed that he went into the examination without any expectations. “I am pleased to be the state topper, although slightly disappointed for narrowly missing the full 100 percentile,” Bhavya shared with HT. He further explained, “Although I achieved 100 percentile in physics and chemistry, I received a 99.99 in Maths, which led to missing out on a perfect percentile.”
