K K University founded by the Society ‘SamajikKalyanSanstha’ functions with a vision of providing a center of excellence through vibrant academic activities to motivate youths to open up to the world of knowledge, skills, science & technology with the focus on the development of the state, the region and the nation. S.K.S. strives forward towards providing quality education in the fields of sciences, humanity & social sciences, paramedical, engineering, commerce and management by establishing appropriate infrastructure suitable to the spread of higher education, vocational education and training.

Following the vision to ensure “Excellence in higher Education” and the motto “Knowledge, Skills and Wisdom” KK University emphasis on obtaining “knowledge through application” stated Mr. Ravi Choudhary, the chancellor of the University. He added that– “The concepts and hands on training, are provided to the students leaving the campus who in-turn are equipped to face customized industrial challenges ahead of them with ease and confidence”.
In a time, where there are mushrooming number of Universities growing every year in India and the world, very few Universities have the capacity to build up a brand through their faculties and student development programs as well as placements, which fortunately KK University is able to accomplish successfully.
K.K. University enjoys the status of being the first private University of Bihar, Incepted in 2017; the University is scaling heights one after another every year. K.K. University in the words of Mr. Chaudhary –“endorses building global profiles through learning of inter-disciplinary skills”; in addition, he also said –“Industry experts who bring the niche of innovative technology to the doorstep of the campus deliver the courses or curriculum with ease”.
The University has courses from every major domain available out there, giving its own spin to every course, be it their School of Engineering, which has Diploma, B.Tech and M.Tech courses or be it their School of Art & Applied Sciences, which have courses like B.A, B.Sc, M.A & M.Sc.
The concerned Statutory/Regulatory bodies, who set the academic standards, student performance and infrastructure facilities,approve all the courses, making them industry oriented and keeping the students up-to date with the ever-demanding market trends.

The faculty at the K.K.University are highly qualified and trained individuals in their respective domains. They attend workshops, refresher courses and other faculty development programs on a regular basis to abreast themselves to the changing methodologies of the new-day teaching. Subsequently, they give in their best in grooming the students,converting students into well-trained professionals ready to face the world with confidence.
Apart from the regular faculty members, K.K. University arranges guest lectures by SMEs from various Academia and Industry domains, imparting theoretical and technical knowledge to the students helping them get a real life picture about the current market trends and how to handle them and when to handle them.
A home away from home
When asked about how KK University is a home away from home, Mr. Chaudhary said that – “The infrastructure of the K.K. University is developed as per the terms and conditions provided by the regulatory bodies.”and also “The whole campus is WIFI enabled, with a high tech canteen, mess and a cafeteria at student’s disposal”. He concluded that, “the University encourages the extra-curricular activities among the students under the guidance of qualified coaches who groom enthusiasts to participate in inter-university, district, state and national level competitions”.
There are different libraries for each school, with a Central Library with a host of e-journals covering all the subjects. There are well-designed labs with the right amount equipment for pre-industrial training on the campus. There is also an open gym, basketball, badminton, lawn tennis courts apart from Cricket and Football fields on the campus.
Chancellor
Ravi Choudhary, a B.Tech(Civil) graduate from the University of Mysore, served the government of Bihar for almost 20 years at different positions. His real passion was always to serve the society and was never satisfied with the jobs he did. Keeping in mind the educational backwardness of Jharkhand and Bihar, he wanted to carry the torch of education to the underprivileged folk. Hence, he began on this perilous journey.
He started ITI in Dhanbad, Jharkhand and from there he became the torchbearer by opening the first Private University in Bihar in the year 2017. He keeps influencing and enlightening people with his desire to educate the underprivileged and he is adamant that he will continue to do so.
