After JEE, NEET, NTA, other exams like CTET too seem to be held amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) would be inviting applications for the Central Teacher Ability Test (CTET). The CTET exams are conducted for the recruitment in primary and senior primary teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)/Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) among other schools.

The CBSE conducted CTET as pan India level twice a year to recruit teachers in the government schools for classes one to eight. The exam comprises two papers — CTET Paper I and Paper II in two rounds.

Candidates who apply for class one to five have to take CTET Paper I, while the candidates who want to teach in classes six to eight have to take CTET Paper-II.

Although the exam is conducted to recruit teachers in government schools, teachers can apply in private schools too after qualifying this exam.
