Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, during his two-day visit to the UAE, held discussions with Sara Musallam, chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, on expanding Indian curriculum-based schools in the Emirates to cater to the large Indian diaspora.
As part of his visit, Pradhan also toured the Abu Dhabi campus of IIT Delhi and inaugurated the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC), marking the first-ever establishment of such a centre by an Indian institution overseas.
The meeting saw both sides exchange views on shared educational priorities. Pradhan highlighted the success of Atal Tinkering Labs in nurturing innovation and curiosity among school students in India and emphasized plans to extend similar Atal Innovation Labs to Indian schools in the UAE.
