Exploring International Collaborations: Australian Delegation Explores Potential for Bengaluru’s Premier Foreign Agricultural Science Campus

On Wednesday, the Consul General of Australia visited the Karnataka Higher Education Council in Bengaluru, presenting a proposal to establish a dedicated campus for agricultural science from Western Sydney University (WSU) in the city.

A meeting on this matter took place with Karnataka’s higher education minister, Dr. MC Sudhakar, Consul General Hilary McGeachy of Australia, and other council officials.

According to a statement from the higher education department, WSU is well-positioned to forge robust academic alliances in the field of agricultural science and enhance its global footprint.

McGeachy expressed a keen interest in fostering collaboration between educational institutions in Australia and Karnataka, with a primary focus on cultivating a productive partnership in academic and research endeavors.
