To cater to the academic needs of the students in the classroom, IIL keeps its class sizes limited to smaller numbers to provide students with more individualized attention and interaction with faculty members. Experiential learning opportunities such as internships and externships too are provided on campus, which help students gain hands-on experience with contemporary legal practices and reinforce the concepts learned in the classroom.
Infrastructural Brilliance
Indore Institute of Law (IIL) is situated on a 7-acre green campus and boasts 63 state-of-the-art thematic classrooms that are equipped with interactive audio-visual aids to enhance the learning experience. The campus provides separate hostels for boys and girls with AC/Non-AC rooms, washing machines, geysers, and water coolers, among other amenities. The housekeeping teams work round the clock to ensure the hygiene, safety, and security of the campus. Additionally, a self-managed canteen is available to cater to the cravings of the students.
To promote physical and mental fitness, IIL provides well-maintained playgrounds for outdoor sports such as cricket, volleyball, and basketball, and indoor games areas for chess, carrom-board, and table tennis, among others. Dedicated sports and yoga instructors supervise these facilities.

Industry-Academia Relationship
IIL has got a dedicated Career Development Cell which looks after the expansion and strengthening of industry engagement. The team brings in a otal experience of about 70 years in capacity building and managing industry relations.
To enhance the quality and employability of law graduates, the students are provided with expert lectures from legal luminaries of national and international repute, alumni guest lectures, national and international competitions, debates, Model United Nations, Moot Court Competitions, Parliamentary debates, extempore, judgment writing; workshops on legal drafting, legal research and writing, MUN, Moot Court, mediation and negotiation; national and international certifications, internships, on-campus & off-campus placements.
The CDC team and faculty coordinators monitor the progress of students during internships and after they are hired for 6 months. The CDC team gets feedback from the employer about the student’s performance and shares it with the faculty coordinators. The faculty coordinators work with the Skill Development Cell (SDC) to identify areas where the students need improvement and organize workshops or counseling sessions to bridge the gap between academic and industry expectations. The Training and Placement Cell (T&P) at IIL has been split into the SDC and Career Development Cell (CDC). The CDC is led by the CEO and a team of Placement Managers and Executives with an average work experience of 8-10 years.
Students regularly visit law firms and corporations in major cities. Additionally, the SDC organizes visits to tribunals, district and high courts. Students enrolled in premium/global exposure programs have the opportunity to visit the Parliament of India, Supreme Court of India, International Court of Justice, and International Criminal Court at Hague, Netherland.
