As a result, LEAD College of Management has emerged as a leading provider of top-notch business management education, actively contributing to the development of capable managers who are prepared for tomorrow’s challenges.

Additionally, the college is conveniently positioned 60 km away from Coimbatore International Airport.

Since its establishment in 2011, LEAD College of Management has witnessed remarkable growth over a span of thirteen years. The significant increase in student enrollment from 120 to 300 stands as a clear testament to the institution’s commitment to excellence. Moreover, the management eagerly anticipates the arrival of 360 students in the upcoming year.

The management is proud of the fact that the b-school is home to diverse groups of students from various specializations. “As far as I know, there are only nine colleges in all of India that have nearly 300 seats allocated for MBA, and we are proud to be one of them”, shared ecstatically – Dr. Thomas George K, the Director of the b-school. Continuing on his above point he added – “Another distinctive aspect of our college is its practical approach to education, as opposed to a purely theoretical approach”.

Unique in Every Way

LEAD College of Management has implemented a unique schedule wherein students work continuously for 40 days, incorporating weekends, public holidays, and even local events such as Bandh or Hartal, which are prevalent in Kerala. Following this intensive 40-day period, students are granted one week of holidays to return home. The college organizes buses for students to travel back to their respective districts in Kerala, and they reconvene on the 7th day. This break also allows faculty members, who are located across the country, to spend time with their families.

Importantly, LEAD College of Management operates regular classes from 8:30 in the morning until 4:30 in the evening, incorporating ample break time for lunch. This schedule allows students to benefit from 11 hours and 45 minutes of study time, enabling them to attend classes, have meals, and rest appropriately. Additionally, from 6:30 to 8:30 in the evening, the college offers classes that are not part of the university syllabus, focusing on self-improvement and evaluation. Furthermore, after 9:00 PM, various programs and assemblies are held, bringing together students, teachers, the college administration, including the chairman. Thanks to the comprehensive Residential Setup, the college creates an environment where it actively engages in listening to student concerns, delivering important announcements, and fostering a strong sense of community. This setup enables the college to organize and facilitate these events and opportunities effectively.

Furthermore, LEAD College of Management is known for its Lead Operating Team (LOT), who hold a very important role in the smooth running of the b-school. Under this system, each faculty member is assigned 15 students, where the mentors take up the full responsibility of ensuring overall success and well-being of the students. The faculty members also maintain regular communication with parents, reaching out to them every two weeks.

Even after graduation, the mentor maintains contact with the students, offering guidance and assistance in areas such as job placement, projects, internships, and other relevant aspects. The college boasts a robust alumni network, with alumni residing in locations such as Dubai, Qatar, and soon in the UK. This network actively supports one another, providing assistance and guidance, particularly during challenging times like the COVID pandemic.

At LEAD, it is customary to organize a variety of programs, including the Management Development Program (MDP), for corporate executives amidst the breathtaking beauty of Dhoni hills. This practice not only facilitates professional development but also allows students to immerse themselves in the untamed beauty and thrill of nature.
