The Mumbai University has released the first merit list for admissions to various colleges today on June 29 at 11 am. The students who had applied for admission to various colleges can check the list through the website — mu.ac.in.

According to university, the first merit list will be released on June 29, after which students can get their documents verified and pay their fees from the next day onwards. The final date to get the documents verified on July 6 up to 3 pm.

Similarly, the second merit list will be released at 11 am on July 7 and the same procedure of verification and payment will be followed till July 13 up to 3 pm.

The third, which is usually the final merit list will be released at 11 am on July 14. The verification and payment procedure for the same will continue till July 16.

The colleges have been directed to provide the enrolled candidates with a provisional admission certificate, which will be confirmed later when the candidate submits a hard copy of the mark-sheet and all other necessary documents later.

The university started the admission process for several five-years integrated courses and integrate courses from June 9 and the last date to apply was June 20.

Kishinchand Chellaram College has announced its first merit lists for the UG courses such as BAF, BCom, BAMMC, BFM, B.Sc. Data Science and Business Analytics, BBI, BMS, BBA, BSc Biotechnology, etc and students can check the list at kccollege.edu.in. The highest for BA is 92.17 per cent and 95.17 per cent for BCom.

Vivek College of Commerce recorded highest percentage of 88.50 per cent in BCom, 86.83 per cent in BMS and 87.5 per cent in BAF. The Sophia College for Women has given students time till July 6 to submit and get their documents verified.

The BK Birla College of Arts, Science and Commerce recorded cut off of 73 per cent in BCom, 51 per cent of BA in English medium and 70 per cent for BSc IT.

Under the FYBMS course, the K.P.B Hinduja College of Commerce observed 85 per cent cutoff in Commerce, 73.17 in Arts and 76.17 in Science. It was 84.83 per cent in FYBAF, 83.50 per cent in FYBFM, 65.50 per cent in FYBCOM, 63.67 per cent in FYBBI. For the FYBAMMC course, the cutoff is 75.33 per cent in Commerce, 68 per cent in Arts and 80.50 per cent in Science. vSimilarly, the cutoff is 67 marks for FYBSCIT (Maths Marks).
