NEET PG Counselling 2021 starts in two days

The wait is almost over. The NEET PG 2021 counselling process will begin from January 12, 2022. On Sunday, the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya through his Twitter account announced the details of the NEET PG counselling .

“NEET-PG counseling is being started by MCC from January 12, 2022, following the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, as assured by the Ministry of Health to the resident doctors. This will give more strength to the country in the fight against Covid-19. My best wishes to all the candidates,” Mansukh Mandaviya said in a tweet.
The Supreme Court announced its decision in favour of resident doctors who were protesting against the reservation. As of now, the Supreme Court has ordered a 27 percent reservation for all quotas in undergraduate and postgraduate seats.

The criteria of quota for EWS students will be decided in the final hearing in March 2022. However, in order to continue with the counseling, a 10 percent reservation will be considered.

NEET PG Counselling 2021: Important points to keep in mind

As per information, MCC will conduct 4 rounds of All India Quota Counselling- round 1, round 2, mop-up round, and stray vacancy round from the academic year 2021-22 onwards.

Eligible candidates can register for NEET PG Counselling 2021 on the official website of MCC,i.e., mcc.nic.in. While registering, candidates will be asked to fill in their choice of specializations and colleges.
