Due to the National Emergency, which is the outbreak of COVID-19, academic institutions across the length and breadth of the country remained shut. In such a scenario, under the order of Prof. Rajive Kumar, the Member Secretary of AICTE issued detailed guidelines on Academic Calendar for A/Y 2O2O-21 vide letter.
Also, because of the prolonged emergent conditions in the Country and requests from various State Governments and ongoing admission process of IIT’s and NIT’s, the Council has extended the last date of admission to first-year Engineering courses (UG and Diploma lateral entry) to 30th November,2O2O. Accordingly last date of commencement of classes of the first-year 01.12.2020.

It was also mentioned that – the academic calendar may further change subject to the present and future circumstances.
