SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Dharwad, founded in the year 1986 is a self-financing, non profitable organization with a vision of excellence in knowledge, skills and service. The SDM CDSH is situated at Sattur between Hubli & Dharwad, in the northern tip of Karnataka. Striving on the same vision that saw the founding of the SDM institutions, SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital follows a completely practical oriented teaching, with incorporation of preclinical work for the students to improve their hands-on experience. The various courses offered are BDS, MDS, Ph.D., Fellowship Course in Forensic Odontology, Oral Implantology, Cleft lip and Palate Surgery, Occlusal Sciences, Certificate Course in Fundamentals of CAD CAM Dentistry.
Moreover, believing in providing an overall development of all, the College is home to an exclusive indoor stadium and gymnasium, a basketball court, and a swimming pool.
