Gyankund Trust started with the clear motto of “To Educate and To Serve” and as a result of the trust wanting to work for the development of the society, by spreading education and delivering highly qualified engineers, entrepreneurs and managers, Technology Education and Research Integrated Institutions, commonly known as TERii was founded in the year 2007.
Situated at Kaithal Road in Kurukshetra, TERii has a campus that is spread on a lush 20+ acres of green land and been built with the latest state of the art technology. The campus provides a peaceful, unpolluted and calm environment for the students to focus on themselves and inculcate innovations. The campus consists of all the modern technology facilities, like state of the art infrastructure, labs, and workshops, made available for the students to become great engineers, entrepreneurs, and managers.
TERii offers several courses including B.Tech in different streams and courses like MBA, BBA and Polytechnic/Diploma. The institute is ahead of all its competitors in Kurukshetra, Haryana in terms of placements and quality of education, making TERii a premium institute, for a student to pursue his/her higher education in this geographic location.

Having a superb landscape for a campus, learning and creative thinking come automatically to students, in this scenic learning environment. Education at TERii is immensely practical oriented, labs and workshops are industry inclined; students are exposed to genuine engineering practices. Meanwhile, a strong engineering foundation is given to the students, to make them ready for any difficulty or challenge ahead of them.

Pertaining to Dr. M.P. Gupta’s words, TERii is a potboiler of excellent faculty, who are graduates and Ph.D. degree holders from the likes of IITs and NITs. The faculty is well learned and trained in various ultramodern trends via umpteen seminars and workshops, and these activities prepare teachers to be up-to-date with the current demands and trends of the market, making their teaching more apt to the current time. The faculty at TERii, treat students with a very warm and welcoming attitude, motivating young champs of today to actively participate in various competitive exams like NPTEL, NET, GATE, CAT and so on, teaching them and guiding them towards achieving something commend worthy.
Life at TERii
For students who are interested in sports and co-curricular activities, “TERii has ample opportunities made available for such students to pursue and grind their talent”, said Dr. MP Gupta ecstatically. The campus has enough room for excellent sports facilities like Table-Tennis courts, Basketball court, Snooker, and Badminton. To instill the competitive spirit of sports, intra-institution & inter-institution tournaments are also organized. Each year an annual Sports Meet is organized where students compete in Athletics, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Kho Kho, Tug of War, Chess, Carom, Snooker, Table Tennis and other sporting activities. Each year the Institute hosts a 2 days Annual Sports Meet called ‘TERii Sports Meet’ where the students are encouraged to participate in sporting events of their choice.
Co-curricular activities are given equal importance as sports at TERii, to enrich cultural interests among students and to improve their interpersonal communication skills. The cultural committee at the college encourages students to take part in a wide variety of cultural competitions such as singing, dancing, debates, creative writing, etc., and the college organizes various Fests and Cultural Activities, where the students participate enthusiastically to make the programs a mega success. Such festivals serve as a workshop to test and develop the students’ organizing ability, teamwork and personality. The whole exercise is conceptualized, planned and executed from the grassroots level. TERii aims to bring students, faculty, and staff together in both academic and co-curricular activities that promote healthy lifestyles, enhance a sense of community and belonging and most importantly encourage the pursuit of excellence.

- Granted candidacy status by IAO USA.
- Acknowledged by NASA for our contribution in NASA Rover Challenge Asia
- TERii organized National Conference in collaboration with Institution of Engineers, India and Elsevier.
- Communicated patents on mechanical engineering disciplines, which are under review by Indian Patent Office.
Meet the Advisor of TERii, Dr. M.P. Gupta
A man of vision, commitment and positive thinking, Dr. M.P. Gupta, is a living example of an academic excellence story. His contributions are laudable in the field of technical education, which have brought enlightenment and education within the reach of under-privileged and economically weak students, who did not have access to quality education before. He has had a very meritorious service life, enabling him to become the Director of Technical Education, Haryana.
Due to Dr. M P Gupta’s humble origin story and due to his exemplary desire to contribute towards the society, he has understood and been able to operationalize, his thorough understanding of education systems and helps TERii as a valuable advisor in every decision the institute takes, taking TERii to the heights of academic and overall excellence.
