The schools in Telangana to remain closed till Central government issues guidelines regarding the reopening of schools and commencement of regular classes. Until then schools and educational institutions will conduct online classes. The academic session of Telangana for 2020-2021 begins today.
The cabinet meeting held on August 5 had approved the commencement of admissions and further agreed to begin distance education and e-learning for schools. The teachers were instructed to attend schools regularly from August 27 and prepare e-class content and lesson plans.
Earlier, issuing an order, the special chief secretary Chitra Ramchandran had said: ‘The Government, after careful examination, hereby permit as part of e-learning and distance education, online classes on various digital Tv T-SAT platforms from September 1, 2020, in all schools. All teachers shall attend schools regularly from August 27 onwards and shall prepare e-content lessons.’
