Established in the year 2010, KJEI’s Trinity Academy of Engineering (TAE) is located on a sprawling 110-acre campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure. TAE offers four UG programs in Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The institute houses more than 2350+ students and 150 staff members working collectively towards achieving excellence in every endeavor of life.

In a discussion with the Principal of TAE, Dr. Nilesh J. Uke about how TAE has an environment for effective teaching and learning, he stated – “High-quality teaching is delivered at TAE by our experienced faculty” and he added by saying – “For the growth and betterment of the college and its students, the strategy is updated regularly”. Faculty at TAE understands each student’s individuality and teaching is done accordingly by taking remedial classes for students with a slower pace of learning. The faculty members, to make students get accustomed to the study patterns and get well-versed academics use different ICT tools. Concentrating on the overall development of students, soft skills and communication skill training is provided to boost their chances of landing a successful leap into the corporate or industry world. Lecture notes, question banks, regular assignments are made available to the students for better performance in exams.
Teacher Guardian scheme is followed at TAE, where each teacher is assigned 20 students for mentoring and ensuring strong one-to-one relationships with students, making students feel at home. For the needy and meritorious students, KJEI scholarships are provided and to help students find a successful career path, TAE boasts impressive placement and internship opportunities.
Life at TAE
Having the luxury of a 110-acre lush-green campus near Bhopdev Ghat, TAE is a place for comfort, safety, and secure learning. The institute has a hostel on campus with a capacity of 600 students and other essential facilities like mess facility, cafeteria, TV room, Gymnasium, study room, internet facility, WIFI, parking, and generator backup.
TAE is AICTE approved and NAAC A Grade, the college follows all the norms laid out for smooth functioning of the institute. The institute has spacious labs with 550+ computers and an effective internet facility. Best in-house sports facilities are made available for the students within the college campus. All sports activities are guided through a full-time professionally qualified Director for physical education. He guides students through hygienic life routines, from nutritious food and regular exercise, the students are encouraged towards leading a healthy lifestyle.
The library at TAE is a place for pride and is an essential component of the institute’s research and education mission. TAE does have a 24*7 reading area for Hostelites, to have a healthy and energetic place to study. Meet the Principal – Dr. Nilesh J. Uke
A Computer Science graduate from Amravati University, who went on to pursue his Ph.D. in Computer Science from STUM University. Dr. Nilesh kick-started his career from the Department of Computer Science, National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, where he felt proud to nurture young NDA candidates, who would become next-gen officers of Indian Armed Forces.
Dr. Nilesh has an illustrious career of 25 years with many prestigious institutes of our country. He is the recipient of many awards, and one such great accolade to his name was when he was awarded the Young Scientist Award in 2018, by IOSRD (International Organization of Scientific Research and Development). This accolade instituted the scheme of Research Award with the aim of distinguishing Researchers of extraordinary promise and creativity who have made notable research contributions in Science and Technology. He has delivered more than 120 guest lectures on various domains of Computer and IT at different engineering colleges in Pune. As the Principal at TAE, Dr. Nilesh strives hard towards imparting exceptional technical knowledge to all the students at the institute and help them achieve excellence in their respective fields.
