VESIM Business School has once again reaffirmed its commitment to experiential learning and industry-readiness with the successful execution of InspirioBiz 5.0, a national-level case study competition designed exclusively for postgraduate students. Held in association with GEP and NNSB Co-operative Bank, this flagship initiative has become a much-anticipated platform for aspiring business leaders from across India. Taking place in November 2024, InspirioBiz 5.0 welcomed participation from over 230 students, forming 60 teams from India’s leading postgraduate institutes. The competition was structured across three challenging stages: an initial case study submission, detailed presentations, and an electrifying live pitch round. The final round was hosted on March 7, 2025, at the VESIM campus, where participants showcased their strategic insights and business solutions in front of an esteemed jury panel.
Industry-Driven Learning and Real-World Mentorship
The event was inaugurated by Director of VESIM, who emphasized the school’s ongoing focus on innovation-driven education. The competition began with a comprehensive case-writing workshop led by the Event Head. Participants also benefited from a career-enhancing session on resume building and optimization conducted by a successful alumnus of VESIM, giving them a competitive edge before entering the final rounds.
One of the standout features of InspirioBiz 5.0 was the unparalleled exposure students received through interactions with a panel of accomplished industry experts. The jury featured Pawan Totlani, Associate Vice President at CRISIL; Satish Pai, Senior Director at GroupM – Mindshare; Ganaraj Kamath, 
These professionals offered not just judgment but mentorship, bringing deep insights from their respective industries and giving students direct access to real-world feedback.
The intensity of the competition peaked during the final round, where teams presented solutions to complex business problems under the scrutiny of this expert panel. After a day of sharp analysis and strategic brilliance, the top three teams were recognized for their excellence. Team Code Rangers from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai secured the first position and a cash prize of ₹25,000. The second prize of ₹15,000 was awarded to Team Innovision from NMIMS, Mumbai, while Team Kairos from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, New Delhi claimed third place with a prize of ₹10,000. These awards were not merely financial incentives but affirmations of the talent and potential nurtured through the InspirioBiz experience.
