Strengthening its academic prowess, ADCET has forged strategic collaborations with prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and the National Institute of Technology (NIT). These partnerships have enriched the college’s research initiatives, fostering knowledge exchange and enhancing the quality and impact of its research outputs.
Further fueling the spirit of innovation, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) at ADCET plays a pivotal role in nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets among students. The IEDC organizes workshops, hackathons, and startup incubation programs, providing a dynamic platform for students to transform their ideas into viable business ventures.
Bridging Academia and Industry
ADCET, Ashta, has demonstrated a strong commitment to enhancing students’ practical exposure, internships, and placement opportunities through a variety of strategic initiatives. To bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications, the college has organized 123 industrial visits over the past three years, allowing students to gain firsthand insights into industry practices. From their second year onwards, students participate in value-added courses and skill development programs to refine both technical and professional competencies. Additionally, ADCET emphasizes experiential learning through live projects and expert-led workshops that align with current industry demands.
The institution’s comprehensive internship program is designed to provide students with progressive professional training. Second-year students undergo a 15-day vocational training to familiarize themselves with basic industry operations, while final-year students engage in internships lasting between 2 to 6 months, ensuring 100% participation and fostering deep industry insights and practical skills.
ADCET’s robust placement initiatives have yielded impressive results. In the 2023-24 academic year alone, 76 companies visited the campus, resulting in over 1800 placement offers, a testament to the institution’s effective training and placement strategies. To further prepare students for recruitment, ADCET conducts rigorous company-specific assessments and mock interview sessions, ensuring graduates are well-equipped to meet industry expectations and excel in their careers.
