Chandramari International School

Over the past decade, the number of international schools in India has grown exponentially, raising questions about their affordability and their approach to teaching local culture and language. A decade ago, fewer than a lakh students attended international schools, but today, that number has risen to 4–5 lakh. However, the question remains: is enrolling children in international schools truly a better option than traditional schools?

From a curriculum perspective, international schools blend local and global cultures, teaching Indian languages alongside international ones. Yet, with a variety of traditional schools available, the debate continues. Addressing this concern and proving that international schools can remain deeply rooted in Indian culture while embracing global standards, Chandramari International School in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, was founded by visionaries committed to preserving local traditions while fostering holistic, modern education.

As a testament to the dedication and hard work of the school’s management in delivering exceptional CBSE education, we are proud to honor Chandramari International School with the prestigious title of Outstanding International CBSE School of the Year 2024 at the Education Excellence Awards.
