Dual Doctorates, Infinite Impact
Dr. Janardhanan K A possesses a solid and diverse academic background that has significantly contributed to his expertise. He earned two doctoral degrees: a Ph.D. in Business Administration in 2012, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration in 2010. Complementing his doctorates, he holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Allahabad Agricultural University (2006), an M.Phil and an M.A. in Public Administration from Madurai Kamaraj University, awarded in 2004 and 1997 respectively. His foundational studies include a B.Ed. in Physical Science from the University of Madras (1992) and a B.Sc. in Physics from Madurai Kamaraj University (1984). He continues to channel his enthusiasm for research and innovation, which has led to guiding 6 PhD scholars, the granting of 2 patents, and the publication of over 125 papers in Scopus and other reputed journals.

Being a prolific academic whose literary contributions are extensive, Dr. Janardhanan K A’s contributions span a wide range of topics primarily in management, education, disaster management, and social sciences. His work includes numerous research articles published in reputed journals such as the Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services, Turkish Online Journal of Qualitative Inquiry, and the International Journal of Applied Engineering Research among others. His recent studies explore evolving challenges in education, talent acquisition, employee satisfaction, and disaster management. Beyond journal articles, he has authored several books, including “An Introduction to Research Methods” and works on disaster management and community development.

Dr. Janardhanan K A has been a pivotal figure in organizing and participating in numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops throughout his tenure at NICHE. His leadership roles include chairing and presiding over key events such as the International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research in Engineering, Technology and Management (ICIRETM 2017), and the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Science, Engineering, Business, and Disaster Management. More recently, he has been actively involved in cutting-edge global discussions on workforce empowerment, integrating AI, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), and sustainability in HR practices, exemplified by his keynote presence at ICTMBDE-25 in May 2025.
