When choosing an engineering college, strong placement support and training are essential. These elements ensure you are well-prepared for the future, offering ample opportunities to showcase your skills with minimal hassle. Such features are crucial in developing well-rounded engineers who possess the industry-required skills and competencies. Annapoorana Engineering College (AEC) excels in this regard, providing excellent placement opportunities and fostering strong industry-academia relationships. This excellence has earned it recognition among India’s 10 Most Promising Engineering Colleges for Placement in 2024.
Excellence in Placements and Industry Collaboration
To provide insight into why AEC has been shortlisted as one of the top engineering colleges for placements, we interviewed Dr. A. Anbuchezian, the principal.
1.Placement Statistics
- For the Academic Year 2022-23, Dr. A. Anbuchezian reported that out of 103 final-year students, 92 were successfully placed in companies or the Government sector. Additionally, 15 students pursued higher studies with valid qualifying scores, and 2 students became entrepreneurs in engineering/technology, achieving an overall placement record of 92%.
- For the Academic Year 2023-24, 114 students have already secured positions in well-reputed companies such as TVS Motors, Sakthi Auto Components, Mergosoft, Avaze Technologies, Palle Technologies in Bangalore, and Tap Academy in Bangalore.
2.Industry Collaborations
- AEC has established several significant industry collaborations to enhance the educational experience and employability of its students. The college has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various prominent organizations, including Chipware Technologies in Bangalore, IBM India Private Limited, Blue Print, Hire Mee, Palle Technologies, Skillablers Technologies Private Limited, Confido Training and Events Private Limited, Algojaxon Global Soft Private Limited, Asset Society, and NSKD Techno Research and Innovation Solution.
3.Internship Opportunities
