The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has rolled out new textbooks for Classes 5 and 8, aligned with the transformative National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023.
Designed to fuel imagination, encourage creativity, and strengthen conceptual understanding, the new textbooks mark a shift toward more engaging and learner-centric education.
In a recent update on X.com (formerly Twitter), NCERT highlighted the launch of two new textbooks for Class 8 — “Curiosity”, a dynamic Science textbook, and “Kaushal Bodh”, focused on Vocational Education.
