Over 31,000 students have begun their Class 12 board exams conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM), starting Tuesday, as per officials. These exams are taking place at 117 centers, including 39 in hill districts and 78 in valley regions. Among the candidates, boys number 15,908 and girls 15,622, with 412 students affected by ethnic violence also participating. Breaking it down by stream, 23,146 are in Science, 7,697 in Arts, and 687 in Commerce.
