Established in 1992, MMK & SDM Girls PU College became part of the SDME Society under Padma Vibhushan Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade’s leadership. As one of the three dedicated girls’ colleges, it secured the District’s second rank in II PUC 2025 with a 96.35% overall pass percentage (95% Science, 100% Commerce). The college admits students ranging from 60% to 98%+ and supports them through nominal fees and scholarships for 95%+ scorers, single parents, and government schemes, ensuring access and affordability.
