The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to announce the Class 10 Matric results by late April 2026. This timeline marks a shift from the traditional May release, driven by the board’s transition to a new two-board exam system starting this academic session.
By releasing the first session results in April, the CBSE aims to streamline the transition to the second exam session scheduled for May.
How to Access Your Results
Once declared, students can verify their scores through several official channels:
- Official Portals: results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in
- Mobile Apps: DigiLocker and the UMANG application.
Note: On April 13, DigiLocker advised students via ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) to set up their accounts in advance to ensure a smooth download process once the results are live.
Exam Retrospective
The Class 10 board exams for 2026 took place between February 17 and March 11.
- Kick-off: The session began with the Mathematics Standard paper.
- Timing: All examinations were held in a single morning shift, beginning at 10:30 am.
