The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has pushed back the Round 1 schedule for NEET UG Counselling 2026, giving candidates extra time for registration and filling their choices. The seat allotment result for Round 1 will now be declared on August 19.
As per the updated timeline released by MCC, candidates can complete their registration and fee payment for Round 1 by August 15. The registration window closes at 2 pm that day, while fee payments can be made until 5 pm.
Meanwhile, the choice-filling process, which began on August 6, has also been extended and will now stay open until 6 pm on August 17.
