The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold board examinations for Class 12 students based in West Asian countries who were unhappy with the marks awarded under the special assessment scheme, according to officials. This scheme had been devised after board exams were called off in Gulf nations owing to the ongoing war situation in the region.
CBSE had earlier cancelled Class 12 board examinations across seven Middle Eastern countries, Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, affecting 40 subjects, including 20 academic papers.
