Dr Prabir Pal, Chairman RCM ruminates “In the beginning of 1980s we realized that the then economic crisis of India will necessitate complete policy change, going ahead. We were ready for liberalization sooner or later, leading to rapid industry growth with need for skilled youth across sectors. Since I myself had gone through management education at an elite institute I had a fair understanding of industry. Besides, the state of Odisha was in dire need of quality private institutes at affordable price, as seats in Government colleges were very limited and students had either no knowledge about nor means to study outside of the state. And so the need for this visionary venture and the birth of RCM.”
Established in the year 1982, RCM is the front-runner in terms of offering programs in all the fields of management education. Rightfully staking claim among the top 4 management Schools in the Eastern coast of India and the first in the state of Odisha, RCM has come a long way since its inception. It can also boast of being the first autonomous Management Institute in Eastern India approved by the University of Grants Commission and getting recognition under section 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act.

Under the Techno-Management tag, PGDM programs are run in the various cross-venture courses like Business Management, NLP, HR Design, Digital Marketing, and Block chain finance.
