The aim of the center was to create excellent incubation facilities with suitable physical infrastructure. Atal Incubation Centre – EMPI works with multiple stakeholders, to build intelligent ecosystems around entrepreneurs to create scalable and marketable high impact projects, products and solutions across diverse sectors. It works with Government, industry and NGOs in incubating programs, projects and solutions that shall address high Impact problems through venturing. The focus areas are New Mobility, Energy, Health, Agri, Ed Tech. etc. The center would be providing comprehensive support to help young entrepreneurs and start-ups in high impact areas to emerge as successful business enterprises that shall transform India.

Mr Pankaj Saran, President
An institution builder, Management Professional & Consultant, Policy Analyst and a Cognitive Scientist. Mr. Saran has been responsible for conceptualizing and launching a number of first of their kind major national level impact initiatives like launching India’s first Participative Public Policy Forum that led to release of the Manufacturing Policy Draft of the country by Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji; India’s first Innovation awards, wherein organizational innovations from diverse sectors were awarded in one platform. This was launched under EMPI’s Mission Innovative India initiative flagged off by the President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He has also been involved along with Padma Bhushan Mr. N. Vittal, Fmr. Secretary, Telecom & Electronics in setting up innovation clusters in the country. More recently, he has also been involved in incubating high impact starts-ups through the Atal Incubation Centre-EMPI. He is an advisor to Governments of a number of countries such as Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Belgium, Germany and Malaysia on a number of initiatives that he has been working on.
