Implementing this curriculum in the current academic year has already yielded positive changes in learners, reinforcing the conviction in the effectiveness and viability of HVB’s vision and mission.
Nurturing Resilient Learners
In a significant stride towards prioritizing students’ happiness, well-being, and comprehensive development, HVB Global Academy unveiled the RIGHT curriculum books during its Diamond Jubilee Inaugural function on September 17, 2022. The launch was graced by the esteemed presence of former Hon’ble Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshiyari and Professor Anand Ranganathan. The RIGHT curriculum, an acronym for Resilience Independence Growth Happiness Toolkit, is a pioneering initiative by HVB Global Academy. It aims to furnish learners with knowledge, competencies, and practical values crucial for navigating the complexities of modern challenges and uncertainties successfully.
Comprising seven key learning goals, the RIGHT curriculum addresses practical issues such as the environment, nutrition, physical and emotional health, the impact of digital technology, household technologies, and personal finance. Aligned with the recommendations of NEP 2020, which advocates a holistic and inclusive approach to education, the course design reflects HVB’s commitment to revitalizing the Indian education system. As part of this commitment, HVB Global Academy has inaugurated its publishing arm, HVB Publication, to innovate teaching-learning methods and contribute to the evolving needs of 21st-century learners. This initiative is geared towards creating and publishing learning materials that resonate with Indian contexts, aiming to set new standards of excellence in education while offering a holistic perspective on learning.
Under the guidance of Dr. Chandrakata Pathak, the Principal and CEO of HVB Global Academy (HVBGA), the dedicated team has undertaken a tireless mission to redefine the educational ethos within the institution. The focus is on fostering an egalitarian approach to education, viewing it not just as a means of instruction but as a vehicle to unlock each student’s inherent creative potential. This transformative journey is marked by an inclusive learning environment, where growth and development are methodically assessed and tracked across five vital dimensions: Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), Digital Quotient (DQ), Social Quotient (SQ), and Creative-Consciousness Quotient (CQ).
