The Class of 1980 from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) has pledged a generous donation of ₹4.2 crore. The announcement was made during their 45th-year reunion, which took place from March 2 to 4, with 63 alumni in attendance.
According to an official statement from IIT Kanpur, this collective contribution will support several key initiatives, including enhancements to Hall 3 in honor of their Hall Day, infrastructure improvements across the campus, financial aid for the girls’ hostel, and the establishment of a Corpus Fund.
