From the Scratch
Established on July 3, 1972, under the blessings of Goswami Shri Brijratnalalji Maharaj, KPCVS began its journey with a humble intake of students from LKG to Grade V. Generous contributions from Shri Kola Perumal Chetty, and the relentless efforts of the managing body laid the foundation for the school’s growth. Within a year, a three-story building was constructed, signaling the beginning of an inspiring journey of progress. In 1978, the school was renamed Kolaperumal Chetty Vaishnav Senior Secondary School, offering Plus Two education under CBSE affiliation.

Two Class VIII students secured first prize at the prestigious CBSE National Competition, highlighting their remarkable dedication and skills.
Adding to this legacy, distinguished alumnus and National Skating Champion Avikshit Vijay Viswanath represented India at the Speed Skating World Championships in Vicenza, Italy, from August 26 to September 3, 2023.
The school has also been awarded the Certificate of Establishment by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, recognizing the establishment of its School Innovation Council (SIC ID: SIC202200041) for the academic year 2024-2025. – Accolades at Young Indians (Yi) Annual Day
At the Young Indians (Yi) Annual Day 2024-25, the school received the Excellence Award for its remarkable performance as one of the top five schools among the 80 Thalir Schools in Tamil Nadu. This prestigious recognition underscored the school’s impactful contributions through over 850 projects under Yi YUVA, THALIR, and Rural Initiatives.
