The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) in Prayagraj has announced that the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET) 2026 will take place on July 2, 3, and 4. This exam determines eligibility for teaching primary and upper primary classes in government schools throughout the state.
UPESSC has also unveiled schedules for other key recruitment exams. The Assistant Professor exam, previously set for April 16-17, 2025, then moved to September 4, 2025, and eventually cancelled, is now confirmed for April 18 and 19, 2026. The Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) exam is scheduled for May 9 and 10, 2026, and the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) exam will occur on June 3 and 4, 2026.
