Students preparing for the Karnataka SSLC Class 10 examinations are facing an unexpected hurdle. Due to a public holiday declared for March 30, the third language exam has been pushed back to March 31.
While the adjustment accounts for the holiday, it has inadvertently created a “prep time” crunch for one of the most demanding subjects on the calendar.
The Social Science Struggle
The real concern lies in the proximity of the Social Science exam, currently set for April 2. With the third language exam now occupying March 31, students are left with a very narrow window to review a massive curriculum.
Why the concern is high:
Massive Syllabus: Social Science covers over 33 lessons across History, Geography, and Civics.
Reduced Gap: The rescheduling has significantly cut down the study break students were originally counting on to tackle this extensive subject.
High Stakes: As a major core subject, the lack of breathing room is causing notable anxiety among students across the state.
