The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, allowing candidates to review their responses and raise objections within a limited window.
The answer key pertains to the re-test conducted on June 21, 2026, which was held following the cancellation of the earlier exam. Candidates can access the provisional key through the official NEET portal and cross-check their answers to estimate probable scores.
Alongside the release, the NTA has opened an objection (challenge) window from June 25 to June 28, enabling students to contest any discrepancies in the answer key. Candidates are required to submit supporting evidence and pay a processing fee of ₹200 per question challenged.
The agency has clarified that all challenges will be reviewed by subject experts, and if found valid, corrections will be incorporated into the final answer key, which will form the basis for result preparation.
The OMR response sheets are yet to be released and are expected to be made available shortly, providing candidates with a detailed view of their recorded responses.
