The COVID-19 pandemic took the world by surprise, and educational institutions were no exception. Despite facing several unprecedented challenges, they strengthened themselves instead of getting bogged down by it, and several prompt measures were undertaken. While many institutions across the length and breadth of India struggled to make ends meet and deliver with ease, hubs of engineering excellence such as Aditya Engineering Colleges, through their sublime objective of providing high-quality Technical Education enriched with fundamental Human Values, helped everyone on their campus strive for excellence, one step at a time. Recognized as an international haven for students from Africa, Nepal, China and few other countries, AEC caters to the needs of students in all aspects of learning as it provides quality education, in an environment of total inclusivity. Certainly, AEC continues to stay on the summit of education compared to other Engineering colleges in the country because it sets quality benchmarks by imparting standard education. Also, to keep in tune with ever changing world and meet the demands of a highly competitive global market, Aditya Engineering Colleges implements and inculcates quality teaching methodologies, motivating students to consistently equip themselves and get updated in academics and world affairs.
“Every student is given an open platform to participate wholeheartedly and perform in the activities to the best of their abilities”, shared – Dr. N. Satish Reddy, the Vice Chairman of the Engineering College. Adding to his above statement, he stated – “Various activities like NSS, culturals, games and sports, T-Hub and training & placement provided on our campus, impart wide exposure and rich fund of knowledge to all our students”. Through a brief conversation with the Vice-Chairman we learnt that all these endeavors taken up by Aditya Engineering Colleges are in the direction of preparing its students to face the outside world audaciously. The most conspicuous benchmark of quality education in Aditya is the placement drive for the students. Even at the very third year, the students are given the golden opportunity to participate in the campus recruitment drives for which they are given ample training. The MNCs are invited to the doorstep of Aditya and third & final year students have made a mark by getting through the interview process. Hats off to Aditya for initiating and motivating the students by giving quality education to students to ensure a successful and meaningful career year after year.
Along with imparting quality education, Aditya always encourages students in all aspects to build their bright career and improve their skills by conducting extracurricular activities like Technical Fest (VEDA) and conducting GO-Kart events. Students are also regularly motivated to participate in National Level competitions like E-BAJA, M-BAJA, SAE-SUPRA by funding, supporting and also the onboard faculty members operate as guides to all the participants. Apart from this, there are plenty of activities like seminars, festival celebrations, sports and social service activities like NSS, LEO club to make sure that students are growing with all ethics and values.
Proper Guidance and World-class Nourishment
Always working towards creating the right path for students to evolve, at AEC tournaments are organized for cricket, football, badminton etc, and yoga classes are conducted for hostel students, along with organizing several social service activities such as – beach cleaning, blood donation camp, and plantation drives. Giving us real-world insights into how AEC functions and gives back to its student community – more than just quality education, we got a couple of current students to speak out and express their views on why they chose AEC and talk about whether AEC lives up to its brand value.
When Amisi Rwanyange Maurice, a student from Mining Dept was asked about the guidance he receives from the teachers at AEC, he stated – “The way the lecturers are inciting us to work hard is the most interesting part. They prepare us not to be crammers but to be able to solve problems and to think out of the box. Encouraging us to do more research and not to limit ourselves on the notes given by the lecturers”. Talking about the placement opportunities provided by AEC above, another student, Kartikeya shares, “Placement department is doing splendidly. I have not seen this effort in any other college. Sometimes they stay until late at night for HR and TR interviews to support us”. Moreover, when M Sudha Manvitha a student from the Mechanical Department was asked about AEC bridge the gaps between learning and finding a career, she shared – “We have a placement department named AJVIKA which works relentlessly in bringing opportunities to students, be it on campus or offline campus procedures, they make sure that we don’t miss out on such chances because of minor glitches.” Through interactions with various other students, we learnt that the institute is always in the front line to make great industry collaborations, and recently, around 50+ companies have visited the campus and 3100 plus students are placed. All these things are possible because of the incredible management, the faculty and the placement team.
All in all, the Admissions of the year 2021-22 in Aditya was a welcome shower and a bolt from the blue because the strength has increased in leaps and bounds from the past. It is surprising to note that despite COVID-19, Aditya, the abode of goddess SARASWATI, made a significant mark in admissions by crossing 95% . It is clearly visible that there is a great future for both the learning and teaching fraternity in the years to come.
