With immediate effect, the Haryana School Education Department has ordered all public and private schools to transition to hybrid teaching methods for all subject areas, with the exception of Classes 10 and 12. In light of the deteriorating air quality in the Delhi-NCR area, the action puts student safety first. In order to battle dangerous pollution levels, this decision is in line with Stage IV actions under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).
Additionally, schools in Faridabad and Gurugram have been instructed by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to hold courses online whenever possible.
“All actions as envisaged under Stage-IV of the latest GRAP Schedule as issued by the Commission via its order dated 13.12.2024 be implemented with immediate effect,” the official notification said.
