Registrations for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 are now open on the official portal, iimcat.ac.in. IIM Indore will conduct the exam on November 29, 2026, across three sessions at various test centres nationwide.
Eligibility
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. This requirement is relaxed to 45% for candidates from the SC, ST, and PwD categories. Those in their final year of graduation or awaiting results can also apply on a provisional basis. Notably, there’s no upper age limit for CAT 2026 aspirants.
How to Register for CAT 2026
- Go to the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
- Sign up as a new user with a working email address and phone number, then set up your login details.
- Log in and complete the application with your personal, academic, and other necessary information.
- Choose your preferred exam city and other test-related preferences.
- Upload the necessary documents and pay the fee online.
- Submit the form and verify the confirmation page.
- Download and keep a copy of both the filled application and confirmation slip for future use.
Application Fee Structure
General category, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates are required to pay Rs 2,600 as the application fee, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates need to pay Rs 1,300. Payments can be made through the online options available on the CAT 2026 website.
