The CBSE Board Exam 2024 is slated to commence from February 15 onwards. The Class 10 board examination is scheduled from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while the Class 12 board examination will take place from February 15 to April 2, 2024.
This year, over 39 lakh candidates from 26 countries, both within India and abroad, are expected to sit for the exams. To ensure a fair and smooth conduct of the board exams, CBSE has issued guidelines for students.

– The exams will begin at 10:30 am every day. Most papers will conclude by 1:30 pm, with some ending at 12:30 pm. Hence, students are advised to arrive at their respective exam centers at least 30 to 45 minutes before the start time.
– Candidates are required to adhere to certain instructions:
– Arrive at the exam center 30 to 45 minutes prior to the exam start time.
– Carry the admit card and other necessary documents as mentioned in the admit card on all exam days.
– Bring personal stationery items such as blue or black ballpoint pens, pencils, and erasers.
– Electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
– Carefully read the instructions provided on the question paper.
– Thoroughly read the questions before attempting them.
– Refrain from writing anything on the question papers.
– Seek permission before leaving the examination hall.
– Avoid any form of communication or unfair practices during the exam.
Candidates residing in Delhi are advised to plan their commute in advance, utilizing public transport such as metro services to ensure timely arrival at the exam centers.
