In a significant move, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a special examination for students unable to appear for their board exams on March 15, 2025, due to Holi celebrations.
CBSE acknowledged that while Holi will be observed on March 14, 2025, in several parts of the country, some regions will celebrate the festival on March 15, 2025. Considering potential challenges faced by students in these areas, the board has decided to conduct a special exam for those unable to attend their scheduled exam on that date.
According to the official notice, these students will be allowed to appear alongside candidates taking special exams as per CBSE’s policy, which also accommodates students participating in National or International Level sports events.
