The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has scrapped all pending Class 10 board exams for students in the Middle East, while delaying Class 12 exams set for March 7, as announced in a new circular released on March 5, 2026.
This move affects CBSE-affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Controller of Examinations Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj explained that the board made this call following a thorough assessment of the current conditions in the region. Updates on remaining Class 12 exams later in March will follow a fresh evaluation, the notice added.
