The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an announcement emphasizing the need of consistent attendance. The statement states that in order for pupils to be eligible for the Class X and XII board examinations in 2025, they must have at least 75% of their attendance. By ensuring that kids obtain a thorough education, this action seeks to advance their whole development in addition to their academic achievement.
The instruction, which is a part of the CBSE Examination Bye-Laws, emphasizes how important it is for schools to continue to ensure student attendance.
The CBSE places a strong focus on attendance because it understands that learning takes place in schools, which are vital settings for students’ intellectual, social, and emotional development. The board said, “Regular attendance is not only essential for meeting the Board’s examination requirements but also for fostering responsible and well-rounded individuals.”
