The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet announced the official date and time for the release of Class 10 and 12 board exam results. Contrary to speculation, a CBSE official confirmed that the results will not be declared on May 2, but are expected sometime next week.
Last year, the results for both Class 10 and 12 were released on May 13, covering exams conducted from February 15 to April 2. This year, the Class 10 exams concluded on March 18, while Class 12 exams ended on April 4.
Once released, students will be able to access their 2025 marksheets on the official websites:
📌 cbse.gov.in
📌 results.cbse.nic.in
📌 cbseresults.nic.in
In 2025, approximately 24.12 lakh students appeared for Class 10 exams across 84 subjects, while 17.88 lakh students took the Class 12 exams in 120 subjects.
The digital marksheet will include the student’s name, subject-wise marks (theory and practical), total score, and pass/fail status. Students are reminded that the online marksheet is provisional, and the original document must be collected from their respective schools.
For reference, the overall pass percentage in 2024 was 93.60% for Class 10 and 87.98% for Class 12, with results declared on May 13. In 2023, results were released a day earlier, on May 12.
