The National Testing Agency has announced that the third edition of the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate will wrap up in a week, with no score normalization as all exams will occur in a single session. According to the agency, exams for 15 subjects will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode, while those for the remaining 48 subjects will be computer-based.

This year, the National Testing Agency reported a registration of over 13.4 lakh candidates for the common entrance test, aiming for admission to undergraduate programs across 261 central, state, deemed, and private universities.

Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, emerged as the top three most sought-after universities among applicants.

Last year, the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) spanned 34 days with 93 shifts to prevent technical issues. Additionally, the exam underwent two extensions.
