The Delhi government has rolled out a one-year scholarship scheme for Class 12 science students studying in government and government-aided schools, offering free residential coaching for competitive exams like JEE and NEET.

The coaching will be conducted by the Dakshana Foundation at its Pune campus in Maharashtra, with the scholarship covering tuition, meals, and accommodation for the full academic year.

Eligible students — those in the science stream at government or government-aided schools during the 2026-27 session — can apply through the Dakshana Foundation’s dedicated scholarship portal.

As per a notice from the Directorate of Education, Delhi, candidates will be shortlisted via the Joint Dakshana Selection Test (JDST) 2027, set to take place in December 2026. The selection process involves two stages: an initial shortlisting based on a cut-off set by the Dakshana Foundation, followed by successful applicants completing the Dakshana Scholar Application (DSA).
