The online registration process for admission to Delhi government schools for classes 6 to 9 will commence today, April 8, 2024, as announced by the Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE). The registration form will be accessible on the official DoE website at edudel.nic.in from 12 PM today until April 17 at 5 PM.
As per the official notification, students currently enrolled or previously enrolled in government or government-aided schools under the National Service Scheme (NSS) should consult their last attended school for guidance on transfer or readmission procedures.
The admission procedure for Delhi government schools in the non-plan category will unfold in three cycles. The registration deadline for the first cycle is April 17. Subsequently, on April 29, the Department of Education (DOE) will unveil the school allotment list for registered students. Between April 30 and May 10, 2024, the submission and verification of documents for admission to the assigned school will take place.
