Delhi has implemented GRAP 4 (Graded Response Action Plan) due to severe air quality levels, prompting immediate changes to school operations across the national capital and NCR regions including Noida and Ghaziabad. Effective Monday, December 15, 2025, all schools have discontinued physical classes to protect student health from hazardous air pollution.

Following directives from the Directorate of Education, Delhi schools have adopted a differentiated approach to minimize disruption while prioritizing student safety. Classes up to Grade 5 will transition to a hybrid learning model, combining online and in-person instruction. Similarly, Classes 6 through 11 will also operate under hybrid mode, allowing students to attend classes both online and physically based on institutional guidelines.

However, Classes 10 and 12 have been granted an exemption from the hybrid arrangement. Students in these board examination classes will continue with their regular schedules to ensure uninterrupted preparation for upcoming board exams, which are critical milestones in their academic progression.
