Schools across Delhi will be closed again from tomorrow, i.e., December 3, 2021, until further notice. The decision has been taken amid the worsening air pollution in the national capital. It was announced by the Delhi Environment Minister, Gopal Rai.
The Supreme Court raised questions against Delhi government’s decision to open schools amid the rising air pollution levels in the city.
The apex court asked that the government implement work from home for adults, then why are children being forced to go to school.
The Delhi government reopened schools on November 29, 2021.
