The Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) at the Centre for Coaching and Career Planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), is gearing up to accept applications for its free coaching program, including hostel accommodation, for the UPSC Civil Services examination 2025. Eligible candidates from minority, SC, ST, and women communities are encouraged to apply. The application process opens on March 18 and closes on May 19, accessible exclusively online at jmicoe.in.
This year, the program offers 100 seats, all of which come with compulsory hostel accommodation for enrolled students. In the event of limited hostel space, priority will be given based on merit in the entrance test.
The selection process involves an entrance test and an interview, with the written test scheduled for June 1. The examination comprises two parts: paper 1, which focuses on general studies, and paper 2, an essay writing component. Paper 1 consists solely of objective type questions and is worth 100 marks, while paper 2 carries 60 marks. Only the top 900 students, based on merit in paper 1, will have their essays evaluated. The interview, worth a total of 40 marks, will be conducted online.
