Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has decided to set up a 10-member committee to reform the current method of granting grace marks to students of state schools. The committee will be chaired by the principal secretary of the general education department and the general education director will be the convener.
The committee has been tasked to renew the grace marks system in the SSLC, higher secondary and vocational higher secondary schools of the state. Earlier, it was clarified that the grace marks awarded this year will be limited to the current academic year only.
As per reports, the committee will consist of officials from various categories including the general education directorate, higher secondary, vocational higher secondary and the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan.
