IIM Bangalore has introduced a new program on Modern Business Models through its digital learning platform, IIMBx. This concise course spans six weeks and is available online on SWAYAM, the Ministry of Education’s e-learning platform. IIM-B emphasizes that the course is free of charge and is tailored for a diverse audience, encompassing undergraduate and postgraduate business management students, working professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, and business proprietors.
The program, crafted by Professor K Ganesh, an adjunct faculty member at IIM-B and an experienced entrepreneur, delves into contemporary business models, including platforms, marketplaces, aggregators, and direct-to-consumer enterprises. Renowned industry figures such as Shekar Sharma (Founder and CEO of Paytm), Ananth Narayan (CEO and Founder, Mensa Brands), Arun Narayan (Vice President, Tanishq), and Vikram Vaidyanathan (Managing Partner, Matrix Partners), among others, contribute through lectures.
